The “Plantjie Kwekery” Nursery on the Airport Road just outside George, became well-known for their wide selection of indoor & outdoor plants and

seedlings over the years. The “Plantjie Kwekery” also stock water features, pots and other concrete products , as well as other gardening tools.

The “Plantjie Kwekery” Nursery also offers a relaxing Tea Garden, as well as Animal Touch and Play Farm. Here both parents and children can relax in the country side atmosphere with the Outeniqua Mountains in the background.
Animal touch farm for the kids at the Plantjie Kkwekery
Children (and parents) are welcome to visit the Animal Touch Farm at the Plantjie Kwekery. Here you will meet “Blommie” the resident donkey, chickens, tortoises, potbelly pigs, rabbits, sheep, goats and other farm animals. Entrance is free – feeding packets can be bought from the Tea Garden.
The Play area offers a jumping castle, bumper boats and ample space to run a round and play. A minimal fee is charged for use of the jumping castle and bumper boats. Yhere is an indoor play room with table tennis.
